We collect personal information such as name, email address, username, and password. We also gather usage data, including pages visited, test and quiz scores, time spent, etc. Additionally, we use session cookies essential for the functioning of our website.

We utilize personal information and usage data to deliver services, analyze usage trends, and enhance website functionality. These data also support research on learning behaviors and optimization techniques to improve retention and comprehension. Email addresses are used for marketing communications and promotional offers. Session cookies store login information and payment plans (not payment details) to facilitate website use while logged in.

4. How We Share Information

We share user email addresses with beehiiv, Inc., which processes data on user interactions with marketing emails. Beehiiv's privacy policy is available here: https://www.beehiiv.com/privacy. We use the Stripe, Inc. API to handle our payments, which means Stripe handles user payment information on our behalf; we do not handle, store, or process this information ourselves. 5. User Choices

Users can opt in to marketing emails during account registration and opt out by clicking the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of our emails.

All passwords are encrypted and stored securely. Other user data is also stored in a secure database. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable precautions to safeguard user data.

In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified via email.

8. Data Retention

Personal user information is retained for as long as the user maintains an account with us. Cookies are retained for the duration of the user's logged-in session. Usage data is retained as necessary to provide services.

Our services are intended for individuals residing in the United States and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or individuals outside the United States.

10. California Privacy Rights

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These rights include the right to know, delete, correct, opt-out of sale or sharing, and limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. Users can access and modify personal information through the "My Account" page. Users can request data deletion or a copy of their data in a portable format by emailing the address in the "Contact Information" section. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals but will update this policy if a standard is established.
