The Multistate Bar Exam consists of 36 units, each containing a number of topics within them. We encourage you to study each topic in any order, although we do recommend you finish the unit before you move onto other units.
Presentation of Evidence
Focuses on the rules governing the introduction and use of evidence during a trial.
Relevancy
Examines the standard for determining which evidence is admissible based on its relevance to the case.
Privileges & Policy Exclusions
Covers certain types of evidence excluded from trials for public policy reasons, like attorney-client privilege.
Writings, Recordings, & Photographs
Discusses the authentication and admissibility of documentary evidence, including electronic records.
Hearsay
Explains the rules and exceptions surrounding out-of-court statements introduced to prove the truth of the matter asserted.
